Description
The Pian di Fiume agritourism, completely immersed in pleasant, sunny nature, is crossed by the crystal-clear and evocative Lima stream, which gives its name to the valley.
The structure, set halfway up the hill above the stream, has been built with respect for the architecture and landscape, thanks to careful conservative restoration work that has brought the ancient medieval village, from which the farmhouse takes its name, back to life.
In line with the utmost respect for the environment, Pian di Fiume uses a phyto-purification plant for the sewage system and an alternative energy plant with photovoltaic and solar panels.
In addition, during the restoration, traditional natural materials such as cork, native wood, stone and terracotta were used.
All the rooms of the farmhouse are obtained from the ancient dwellings and metati of the medieval hamlet, respecting the architectural and traditional style with careful conservative restoration work and bio-architecture.
Pian di Fiume uses photovoltaic panels for electricity production, solar panels and a wood boiler for water heating, and a phyto-purification plant for the disposal and irrigation reuse of waste water. For the restoration, traditional and natural materials such as cork, indigenous solid wood, lime, stone and terracotta were strictly used.
At Pian di Fiume you can choose whether to eat in the Restaurant, in the centre of the medieval village, or at AgRistoro, our kitchen on wheels, amidst animals, pure air and the flow of the Lima stream.
