Description
Tuscan estate of 100 hectares with sustainable management located a few km from Siena and owned by the Castelli family. The property is an organic farm that includes a medieval village with 16 rooms in a historic villa and 3 separate apartments, a restaurant with its own vegetable garden, a farm and a cellar that produces organic wines and olive oil. Furthermore, 4 ancient farmhouses are scattered around La Torre alle Tolfe and make up the Country Residence, both for short and long stays.
Our borgo is located in the countryside surrounding Siena, an area with cycle paths and itineraries suitable for every skill level and every type of cycling (gravel, road and MTB). The property is located directly on the route of the Strade Bianche event (the last dirt road sector), and a few kilometers from the Eroica route, the routes for these races and many other routes can be found via GPS.
We have a safe area for storing bicycles, an area for cleaning bikes and we collaborate with third parties for the rental of different types of bicycles including e-bikes. Furthermore, during major cycling events, we offer sport menus and early breakfasts.
All our routes can be used free of charge by those who stay or dine with us.
